The City cited a longtime office and warehouse tenant for lacking proper permits. CODA designed the space and obtained an approved permit after the fact.

The Situation
Somehow an office and manufacturing tenant had occupied its leased building for 2 decades without realizing the previous tenant never obtained a certificate of occupancy.
What We Did
We analyzed and documented existing conditions to submit for both planning and building permits, including redesigning some portions to therefore comply with current codes.
The Outcome
Certificate of occupancy via permits that required change of use and modifications of non-compliant restrooms
