Vera Residence
A traditional L.A. home was transformed into a mid-century oasis, with open living spaces and a seamless indoor-outdoor flow built for California living.
The Situation
The client wanted to fully reimagine a traditional home into a mid-century-inspired retreat — not just cosmetically, but in how the spaces flowed and connected to the outdoors.
What We Did
We opened up the floor plan to create one expansive living-kitchen-dining area, added a breakfast nook overlooking the backyard, and extended the space into a comfortable covered patio designed for indoor-outdoor living year-round. We also remodeled the existing bathroom and two bedrooms, and added a new master suite with its own en-suite bathroom. Once the design was finalized, we took the project through permitting.
The Outcome
The home was reborn as a bright, open mid-century retreat — with a primary suite, refreshed bedrooms and bathroom, and indoor-outdoor living spaces fully permitted and ready for construction.
